Long time no see. I meant to take the 2018 resolution of being more regular on the blog, but here we are, half way through the month and still nothing.

But I am nothing if not resilient and I will try again. One attempt is bound to stick at some point, right?

I’m not going to make a strict schedule in here, but I am aiming for at the very least some weekly writing updates. What I’ve been writing, editing, submitting, and what I am considering.

The last I made any kind of step forward in my writing career was back in the summer of 2015 when I published Three Musketeers and a Jester. I want to change this in 2018.

Here’s a few project I am working on…

In November 2016, I wrote this short christmas story, Once upon a Christmas Day in which Jef and Mason are taking a step forward in their relationship. I am planning on revising it this year as well as writing it’s prequel, Once upon a Winter which follows Jef’s ex husband in his very own, very queer M/F romance.

I also want to finish a short erotic short for an anthology call with a looming deadline. Blessing, Dionysus is a big whole party featuring satyrs, and I really like the world I created there, so I’ll possibly rewrite in that world in the futur.

Those are my main project for the first part of 2018.

I also have plans to start a patreon, so if there is anything you would like to see over there, please let me know. I am still figuring a lot of what I want for the platform and other responsibilities it involves.

I’ve got only a few days left, so I should be doing some visiting soon before I miss out. The next stop is Porto in Portugal, from where I’ll head for the UK meet in September.

Mostly I’ve written a lot, a good 10K+ since my arrival in Lisbon. I didn’t much advancement with The Scarlet Shadow, but I started a short story about child-acting, and a foodie F/F short story.

It’s my first time with lesbian fiction, but since I have an idea for a F/F time travelling novel in my rooster, this short story is going to be a bit of a test run. This still untitled short story in the world of food blogging isn’t just my first in the genre, but my first female point of view since my early days writing Draco/Hermione fanfictions more than ten years ago.

I love learning about other countries history, and I wished there was more of it in school. Some part of the Scarlet Shadow world has been inspired by what I’ve learn about the Second World War and communist regims around the world. It probaly could have been better for productivity in terms of words, but it’s been pretty good for ideas.     The plot for the first book of the Scarlet Shadow series came to me after listening to local legend from Hamburg, Germany.

I’ll try I won’t try, I WILL be writing more about it until the end of the trip. 

Got a new hair colour for my vacation.  I’m pretty happy about how it turned out. 

This weekend is can-con, a SF and fantasy conference in Ottawa, and then I’m heading for Chicago and GayRomLit before concluding with what my friend Nicole  calls a writation. 

So it’ll be a long tthree weeks, but it going to be worthwhile.  I’ll attempt to blog about what is happening, and you will certainly find me on tweeter too.
